• Festival results
  We completed two of our festivals this season and our dancers performed wonderfully, and we could not have been more pleased with results.  At the Shy-Ann Sundance Festival in Fort Saskatchewan April 12-15 all of our dancers won silver, gold or high gold, and they came home with 15 awards.  One being overall Best Choreographer of the day (Heather Schiller and Jake Hastey) and many of the awards for Most Promising and Most Outstanding and Best Choreographer. ... • Ticket sales and costume rentals
  The tickets will be sold on Tuesday April 10th from 5 to 7 pm at the studio in St. Paul.  This is the night that all costume rental fee's, festival fee's (if applicable), costume deposits, dvd presales and tickets are paid.  As well as any extras such as foot Undeez, cover girl 507 lipstick or tights are paid for. We will also be handing out costumes on April 10th, once all depostis and fee's are collected you collect your child's costumes.     More...
• Rehearsals
  There will be two Rehearsals for the year end Show.  One on May 1st at the Studio in St. Paul, this is a NON dress rehearsal with dancers asked to wear their normal school uniform (tights and bodysuit).  The non dress rehearsal starts at 4:30 and ends 8:30. • Year End Show
  Our Year end Show is May 5th with two shows.  This year we have moved our venue to the Elk Point Arts and Leisure center.  Because of the larger seating capacity we are able to cut our shows from five shows to only two.  One show is at 2:00pm and the other is at 7:00 pm.  Tickets are $10 each and children under the age of three do not require a ticket if they are seated in their parents laps, however the show is expected to last two hours and often children get tired ... • Festival
  We are sending many of our dancers to festival this year.  With 25 performances from our Silhouette Dancers and two festivals, our dancers will be showcasing their skills in Fort Saskatchewan at the Dow Center from April 12th to April 15th for the Shyann Sundance Festival and From April 26th to April 29th for the Standing Ovation Festival.
• HIP HOP
  Hip Hop into the New Year! Silhouette Dance School is pleased to Introduce our new Hip Hop instructor and former Silhouette dance student Lisa Jubinville. Silhouette Dance School is offering 10 weeks of Hip Hop classes for ages 4 and up. Classes will be held Wednesdays starting January 18th.   Mom's Pantry Forms will be handed out to students on February 12, 15 & 16th. Collection of forms will be made on March 5th. Please make sure you get yours.  
• Congratulations!!
  We would like to recognize Laura Plante, Kelsea Zalaski and Anna Pratch for their efforts in auditioning for the 2010 performance of the Nutcracker with Alberta Ballet. Congratulations to Laura and Kelsea on their successful auditions, have a great time being part of this timeless delightful production by the Alberta Ballet.
